1. BOOKING CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT
Course bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of full payment and written confirmation (email) from Coast Resuscitation Group.
To ensure the highest quality of education, a minimum of 4 participants is required for a course to proceed. No scheduled course will run with fewer than 4 participants.
Coast Resuscitation Group reserves the right to cancel any scheduled course at any time prior to the course start date due to insufficient enrolments.
2. COOLING-OFF PERIOD
A 24-hour cooling-off period applies to all course bookings.
During this period, cancellations will receive a full refund.

3. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
We understand that circumstances can change. Due to certification requirements, pre-course preparation, and fairness to other waitlisted participants, the following applies after the 24-hour cooling-off period:
More than 42 days before course: Full refund minus $75 administration fee.
42 – 30 days before course: 50% refund of course fees.
Less than 30 days before course: No refund available.
4. COURSE TRANSFERS
Transfer Window: You may transfer to another Coast Resuscitation Group course of the same type if requested at least 42 days prior to the course start date (subject to availability). Your new course must be completed within 12 months of the original booking date.
Transfer Fee: $75 administration fee per transfer.
How to Request: Email coastresusgroup@gmail.com with your booking details and preferred new date.
Restrictions: Transfers within 42 days of the course start date cannot be accommodated.
5. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Punctuality: Participants arriving more than 30 minutes late will not be permitted entry and no refund will be provided.
Full Attendance: Attendance for the entire course duration is mandatory for certification.
Non-attendance: Failure to attend without prior notice results in forfeiture of all fees.
Partial Attendance: For multi-day courses, partial attendance is considered non-completion, with no refund.
6. SUBSTITUTE PARTICIPANTS
You may nominate another participant provided that written notification is given at least 30 days before the course date, the substitute meets all course prerequisites, and Coast Resuscitation Group approves the substitution. An administration fee of $75 applies for approved substitutions.
7. COMPANY CANCELLATION POLICY
If Coast Resuscitation Group cancels a course due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered an alternative date at no additional cost. If no suitable alternative is available, a full refund will be issued. Coast Resuscitation Group accepts no liability for travel, accommodation, or other additional expenses.
8. REFUND PROCESSING
All requests must be submitted in writing to coastresusgroup@gmail.com. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving written notice, via the original payment method. Postage, handling, or administrative fees are non-refundable.
9. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
Coast Resuscitation Group’s maximum liability is limited to the refund conditions specified in this policy. We accept no liability for travel expenses, accommodation costs, lost wages or opportunity costs, personal property damage or loss, or consequential and indirect damages. Participation is at the individual’s own risk. Coast Resuscitation Group is not liable for injuries or damages sustained during course activities.
10. PRIVACY & SECURITY
Coast Resuscitation Group is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information is kept strictly confidential and is never shared, sold, or exchanged with third parties. Information is collected and used solely for processing bookings, providing course updates and communications, and maintaining training records as required by accrediting bodies.
11. COURSE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
Courses must be completed within 12 months of the original booking date. All course components (theory, practical, assessment) must be successfully completed for certification. Participants who do not meet requirements are not entitled to refunds.
12. CONSUMER RIGHTS UNDER LAW
This policy operates within the framework of the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Nothing in these terms is intended to limit or exclude statutory rights or remedies available to participants under the ACL, including those concerning major failures, misleading conduct, or unfair contract terms.
13. POLICY UPDATES
Coast Resuscitation Group reserves the right to review and update these terms at any time. Updates will be published on our website and reasonable notice will be provided to existing bookings. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
